The administration of San Miguel de Allende, in Guanajuato, continues to promote women in the municipality / @MauricioTrejoP @GobMunicipalSMA >>>

#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- With the commitment to continue supporting women who are improving their economic independence, the Municipal Administration, through the Municipal Institute of Attention to Women (IMAM), held this event of exhibition of handicraft products in a space where they exhibited part of the work done by these artists.

In this first edition in this 2023, the IMAM arranged the Civic Plaza for dozens of women to exhibit their unique pieces to Sanmiguelenses and visitors; this is an example of the municipal public policy that has marked the president Mauricio Trejo, which prioritizes the welfare of women sanmiguelenses, with support to generate more and better opportunities.

In gratitude to the Municipality, Maricruz Barbosa emphasized that the Sustainability Fair is an ideal space to generate their own income, mentioning «first of all, the opportunity to be here at the fair, to be able to sell our product, because we do not have a space where we can exhibit it, where we can sell. We have no point of sale other than this one, which IMAM is doing us the favor of supporting».

For her part, Remedios Pérez Mata highlighted the opportunity that the Municipal Administration opens to women who do not have a job or formal business and seek to be economically independent; she said that «it has helped me a lot, because since I don’t work, then I have something».
